Open rate
Persuading customers to open emails can be tough. So often emails are deleted or sent directly to a junk folder.
But even though open rates may be low, it’s no excuse for mistakes and oversights. We all make errors sometimes, but when it comes to communicating with your customers, triple check everything.
If a customer does open an email and there are mistakes such as misspellings, missing words or even broken or mislabeled links, that customer will be less likely to open an email from you in the future.
Email communication alone doesn’t necessarily make or break a customer relationship and it is not the only item that creates Customer Experience, but it does demonstrate how much effort you are putting in to the relationship.
