Who is this?
There’s a lot going on lately and it’s almost too easy to make mistakes. But if you take the time to craft a genuine and personal email to a customer, verify that they know the email is from you.
A customer recently received a well-written email from a company apologizing for delays. However, the customer only recognized the purchase from the order number listed at the beginning of the email.
In wanting to have an individual touch to their emails, the business had decided to use only their first names as a return address. And while a personal touch is wonderful, especially with written communications, a customer still needs to know what company you represent.
If you take the effort to write a personalized note to a customer, take credit for it and show them it was you.
