Lasting impressions
A small plant nursery was looking for ways to meet its customers’ needs during this unprecedented time.
They decided to place some of their offerings behind a see-through barrier next to the parking lot so that customers, at their convenience, could take a look at the products without risking coming into close contact with other patrons.
One customer commended them, not only on the quality of their products, but the concern for their customers’ health and wellbeing.
The employee responded, “Thank you for your kind words! It's customers like you that make all of this madness worth it.”
Small gestures of appreciation are remembered far longer than the financial transaction. The customer won’t remember how much money he spent that day, but he will remember how the employee and organization made him feel.
