All this talk lately of “getting back to normal.” But the world will never be “normal” again. The organizations that are struggling the most are the ones trying to do “business as usual” rather than developing new identities, new business processes, or new procedures.

This is the time of reinvention. Some organizations needed an excuse to make the changes they knew had to be made eventually. Others are discovering how they can be of service in a completely new business environment. Reinvention is an opportunity to grow as an organization, as a society. It isn’t all bad news.

Growth doesn’t always mean more customers. Growth means changing for the better. Change can be painful or it can be exciting. The choice is yours.
