Stay in business
Because of the current global situation, many local businesses are struggling. One particular business has temporarily shut its doors hoping to reopen in the near future.
While they are closed, they are asking customers for donations to help them reopen and continue serving the community.
So why would customers donate money to help a struggling business remain open? Having a quality product that the community may miss if the business closes can help. But if the business shuts down, customers can find a similar product nearby.
Why would customers help this particular business stay open? Because the business created a relationship with them, created a sense of belonging, and created a perception that it wasn’t just a financial transaction when a customer made a purchase.
Products are replaceable. Relationships are harder to let go of.
